Thank you for considering a career opportunity with Encore Caregivers. The Agency is locally owned and managed by Nora Aden, R.N. and Mike Aden, CPA. You may remember us as the former owners of another premier home health agency (private duty) from 1996 to 2004. Following a five-year retirement, we realized how much we missed the compassionate and loving caregivers and the grateful clients. Of course, we fully understand the fundamental truth -- enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and compassionate Caregivers make it all happen. Come join us!

Minimum Employment Requirements for Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs):

• Encore Caregivers, LLC is Licensed as a Home and Community Support Services Agency Personal Assistance Service by the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services. Hiring standards for Encore Caregivers include both the minimum employment requirements mandated by the State and additional factors unique to Encore. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and comply with all State and Federal Employment and Internal Revenue Payroll Tax Requirements.

• CNAs typically qualify, provided the qualifications listed below are met.

• Home Health Aides qualify with verifiable one year full-time experience in direct client care in an institutional setting (e.g., hospital or nursing facility); or one year full-time experience within the last five years in direct client care in a HCSS Agency (e.g., Licensed PAS or Home Health Agency). You must be able to provide contact information for all previous employers.

• Valid driver’s license.

• Social security card, and if not a US citizen, INS authorization to work in US.

• Your own car (no bus riders)

• Proof of auto insurance

• Current TB Test – must be provided before Orientation

• Some weekend availability preferred

• employment verification, criminal record check, and other background investigation are conducted prior to employment offer.
