As a Home and Community Support Services Agency, License Number 012553 for Personal Assistance Services, Encore must comply with the standards, regulations, and periodic review mandated by Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services.
Our pre-employment process for hiring Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs), Home Health Aides (HHAs), or supervisory and support staff meets or exceeds the State mandated requirements. Encore retains an outside investigation firm to verify social security number, employment history, driving record, and absence of criminal history. Although not required by the State, Encore drug screens employees before hiring.
As the employer, Encore Caregivers insures its caregivers for work-related injuries. Encore’s Clients do not have any employer obligations or responsibilities. Because Encore has stringent hiring practices, including background and criminal investigation, Encore is able to obtain a fidelity bond for its employees.
Encore’s caregivers have big hearts. This personality trait is fundamental to achieving Client and Caregiver satisfaction. Verifiable on-the-job experience and successful completion of a skills examination is necessary before an employment offer is made.
Encore’s goal is to exceed our client’s expectations. Caregivers provide management with weekly updates as to Client status and suggested changes. Management conducts periodic site visits to assure Client satisfaction. Of course, management is always available to address issues presented by the Client or family. Encore conducts mandatory periodic training for its caregivers in subjects relevant to their job function.
Our professional management and caregiver staff understand this simple concept: People are different. When personnel changes are necessary to optimize the chemistry between Client and Caregiver, every effort is made to achieve a smooth transition.
Encore understands that both Clients and Caregivers appreciate stability and consistency in staffing schedules. If a client or caregiver emergency occurs, management reacts quickly to resolve the issue.
